Our Goals
The goal of PTT is to assist middle school students (i.e., grades 6-8) with autism/Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families begin to prepare for the students’ life after high school.
There is currently no evidence-based program that focuses on assisting middle school students with ASD and their families with beginning to prepare for the transition to post-secondary life. The PTT program has the potential to improve knowledge about transition planning for families and students in middle school, as well as enhance the quality of parent-school relationships.
